ENERGY SERVICES WEST Energy Services West, LLC's VP of Project Finance will oversee the financial planning and reporting of our large-scale projects. You will collaborate with the project management team to determine WBS structures, budget and deadlines, coordinate payment schedules for vendors and subcontractors, and utilize project data to generate reports to help project and executive management monitor the performance of the project.

Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for large-scale projects Manage the preparation and review of financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses. Monitor sales pipeline to assist in revenue and headcount forecasts Review contracts for financial items, including cash flow, revenue recognition, bonding, insurance, and required customer reporting, Review WBS structure, project budget and deadlines with project management teams Manage payment terms to vendors and subcontractors Develop and implement consistent processes and procedures for project reporting in conjunction with Quanta sister operating units Oversee multiple Project Controllers on large projects Implement and utilize project reporting tools to monitor ongoing project performance Ensure project reporting requirements are met and timely to ensure efficient decision making and financial reporting Oversee monthly accounting reports Oversee auditing of project financials when necessary Collaborate with project managers and executive teams to define financial strategies that align with company objectives Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence This position is typically office-based but may require occasional travel to project sites or meetings with financial partners and stakeholders Requires the ability to work extra hours during critical project phases or when financial reporting deadlines approach. Required Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent, with a focus on Finance or Accounting, preferred Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are advantageous A minimum of 10 years of experience in project finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing finance teams within large, project-driven organizations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Proficient with Procore preferred Excellent analytical and organizational skills Attention to detail Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, budget management, change orders, and strategic financial decision-making in relation to large-scale projects Experience with financial reporting, contract analysis, and risk management Prior exposure to the energy sector or similar project-based industries is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to oversee and implement financial control systems and processes - Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent, with a focus on Finance or Accounting, preferred . Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency in financial software and project management tools, such as SAP, Oracle, Procore, or similar systems Strong capabilities in using Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel for financial modeling and analysis. The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $160,000.00/Yr. - USD $180,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
