Senior Manager, Financial Services
We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Manager in Financial Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Science and Healthcare Department by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, supplemental schedules, and conducting variance analysis. Additionally, you will maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring the integrity of our general ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial reports to Program Directors and Department Vice Presidents on a monthly basis, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Collaborate in the development of annual budgets, actively monitoring revenue and expenses throughout the year to identify and address any deviations.
- Conduct monthly meetings with Program staff to ensure accurate recording of revenue and expense accruals.
- Deliver financial training sessions and resources to staff members across the organization.
- Assist in quarterly and annual audit assignments, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in project accounting considered a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines consistently.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
