Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in Health Studies Description
The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position in Health Studies to teach Introduction to Global Health for the fall 2024 semester (August-December 2024). We are seeking applications from candidates in any health-related field, with a preference for those with teaching and professional experience in public health disciplines such as Environmental Health, Global Health, Health Disparities, or Health Policy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two sections of Introduction to Global Health. The courses will be taught through the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.
This position carries a 2-course teaching load and instructors are encouraged to contribute to co-curricular program planning. Qualifications
Candidates must have expertise and substantial experience as a practitioner in fields related to health, with a preference given to those with a background in public health. A minimum of an MPH, MSPH, or equivalent degree is required. Candidates must also demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and mentoring as informed by current practice and scholarship on the field. Application Instructions
