Vehicle Sw Quality Test Architect Sdv

The Software Defined Vehicle team supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV is a new vehicle intelligence platform that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road! Within the Software Defined Vehicle, GM is developing the next generation of embedded platform software to deliver state of the art Infotainment features on the Ultifi platform. This role requires high level of expertise and capability in software coding, development, issue resolution, debugging and analysis for root cause.
What You'll Do:
Design tests and metrics to monitor that mimic real-world vehicle usage to be executed in an automated manner.
Collaborate with other GM organizations to review and improve test strategies.
Providing direction and feedback to the Automation Scripters and developers to ensure automated tests meet the original vision
Working on physical test properties (vehicles or benches)
Participating in testing or customer facing evaluations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or Computer Science w/ preferred focus in Electrical, Computer Systems, Mechanical, Aero, Computer Science
5 - 7 years' experience with automated testing & frameworks
5 - 7 years proven skills in automation script development (Pytest, Robot framework)
You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
Strong analytical and issue resolution skills
Passing score on technical coding assessment
