This is an exciting opportunity to make impactful changes that affect thousands of developers across the globe allowing them to develop products more efficiently.In this role, you willLead a team of build and development tools engineers, and partner with them on goals setting and planning deliverablesCollaborate with software development teams to understand build requirements and implement efficient build processesManage development and take accountability for delivery of developer toolsParticipate in active development, writing new features and supporting existing onesBe accountable for the quality, development practice and delivery of new technologyCollaborate with other engineering teams and cross-functional groups within Epic Games, as well as with licensees to identify opportunities for future improvementBe a vision holder who will “rally the troops” and champion impactful change; Foster an environment of growth and empowerment for the team, in an effort to maintain team healthWhat we're looking forYou will be highly proficient in C++ development and have an in-depth knowledge of modern C++ language and all its featuresProficiency in C# requiredStrong understanding of build pipeline and automation toolsYou will have Windows development experience; any familiarity with other operating systems would be advantageousEffective communication and leadership skills required, as you will be leading a team of highly-skilled developersEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
