Position Summary/Description: The web producer will develop and maintain websites for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and One UNC Clinical Research. They will manage client support by liaising with appropriate campus units to establish and host foundational website presence for One UNC Clinical Research, and work with the OVCR web administrator to ensure seamless integration with research.unc.edu. Additionally, they will assist in the maintenance of research.unc.edu and its thousands of webpages, including providing instrumental support during the website revisions. They will perform data analytics as necessary to ensure optimal user experience and implement IT security measures where necessary to protect sensitive and proprietary information.
The employee will report to the OVCR Director of Communications and be an embedded team member of both the Office of Research Communications and One UNC Clinical Research. Education and Experience: * PHP , SQL experience
* Backend server knowledge: Apache, Linux CLI , Kubernetes, GIT
* Experienced with image editing software, preferably familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud suite
