Job Description:Summary:The person in this position will provide administrative and project support to project teams, project managers, and internal teams. Administrative and project support tasks may include:Formatting, organizing, and producing documents, reports, and other major work productsCreating and modifying spreadsheets, tables, and graphsProviding quality assurance/quality control for project documentsScheduling, providing logistic support, and coordinating catering for internal and external meetingsCompiling meeting agendas, minutes, and other miscellaneous documentsDeveloping visual presentation materialsMonitoring work orders and budgetsPreparing project status and progress reports for clientsMaintaining and organizing project filesWork will require frequent discussions with other administrative staff, project managers, and internal teams to inform them of work status and coordinate tasks.Minimum Qualifications:8 years' experience in a comparable positionStrong computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatCapacity to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExceptional organizational and technical/problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasksStrong oral and written communication skills as well as strong listening skillsAttention to detail, accuracy, and task follow-throughStrong client-service mentality and an attitude and desire to help project teams be successfulSelf-initiative and motivation with emphasis on client serviceAbility to work effectively with a variety of personalities and build working relationshipsAbility to work with partial information, identify further data necessary to effectively complete tasks, and either prepare preliminary but incomplete work products or work with individuals to collect necessary data for preparation of complete work productsFlexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedules to help meet project deadlinesAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationLegal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship from Barr, now or in the futurePossession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Experience providing proofreading and formatting of technical reportsAdvanced MS Office Suite skillsExperience with Deltek Vision or VantagePointExperience preparing visual presentation materialsExperience with calendars and scheduling meetings using MS OutlookA hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office.
