Be a key part of shaping this future as our new Philanthropy & Program Operations Coordinator in our Business Operations team. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer/Chief Financial Officer, the Philanthropy & Program Operations Coordinator will work closely with senior leadership, the Philanthropy, Housing Department, and Business Operations teams to advance YWCA's mission in alignment with the goals and objectives. They will support the Philanthropy Team in executing activities and processes to ensure exceptional donor stewardship, accurate and timely data management, and reporting in LiveImpact – the CRM database used by the team. They are also responsible for executing select event activities, reporting, and analysis for and with the Philanthropy team. For the Business Operations and Housing Departments, timely entry into Concur – our accounts payable system, reconciliation, deposits, and bookkeeping projects to support all three departments. This position has access to sensitive YWCA and is expected to handle such information with integrity and professionalism. This team member is well organized, has a very high level of attention to detail, is numbers and results-oriented, and is an excellent communicator.
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and reliable individual with a high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team. You must have an understanding of feminism and a strong commitment to social justice. Additionally, an ideal candidate will possess knowledge of and sensitivity to domestic violence and sexual assault issues, trauma, gender equity, and client-centered service provision.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key to success is the ability to be present in a changing work environment; the ability to work independently and as a member of a diverse team with flexibility, initiative, and a sense of humor; and the ability to prioritize effectively and model healthy boundaries with empathy and compassion. Candidates should be competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and have experience in confidential data management and record keeping.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1 -2 years experience in a relational database (ex. Raiser's Edge, LiveImpact, GiveEffects, GreenLight, Neon CRM, Salesforce, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, etc) Familiarity with Concur Invoice, Expense, and Budget Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) with a high level of competency using Excel Pivot Tables. Excellent math and analytical skills, with the ability to see trends, various ways to present and summarize information, and pull out meaning from numbers The ideal candidate is a warm, self-starter deeply committed to providing services from a strengths-based, social justice and anti-oppression framework. Work hours are primarily business hours between 9 am to 5:30 pm with scheduling flexibility for projects and events. The schedule is a hybrid work arrangement with one (1) to two (2) days in the office per week, or as needed depending on deliverables. Delivery of service may include overtime to accomplish the task at hand. Work includes lifting up to 30 pounds. Susceptible to compassion fatigue and/or vicarious trauma.
Required: Cleared background check (fingerprinting), valid TB test, valid 3+ years California driver's license, and auto insurance. This position requires a Covid-19 vaccination due to the in-person interfacing required, and to promote the health and safety of others in the workplace and our community. Ability to work remotely and have reliable internet.
