Your New Role...
This position is part of a high functioning global team responsible for localizing and distributing Warner Bros. theatrical marketing content for some of the biggest franchises in the world and award winning movies. The wider group covers features, television, games, and short form content from WBD brands such as HBO, Turner and Discovery as well as a variety of marketing and promotional materials.
An AdPub Localization and Operations Manager is responsible for the localization and distribution of theatrical marketing content to audiences in the Domestic, Latin American and Asian regions. The role requires a strong understanding of social media content types, localization, digital cinema, release windows and stakeholder requirements. They are responsible for liaising with stakeholders, advanced planning, forecasting, meeting deadlines and quality assurance. Collaborating and coordinating across production teams, dubbing and subtitling studios, local WB offices and management to ensure all projects are completed to our audiences' and Warner Bros. Your Role Accountabilities...
Creatives Stakeholders (10%) - Supporting Director Working With Marketing Execs & Post Production Vendors To Take Delivery Of, Localizing & Distributing Theatrical AdPub Campaign Materials For Warner Bros. New Line. MGM & Amazon Studios. Co-Productions. Local Productions. Relationships & Communication (20%) - Maintains Relationships With Stakeholders Within GCO Localization, WB Home Office Theatrical Marketing & Distribution, Regional Marketing & Distribution, And Key Contacts For Domestic, Latin American And Asia Pacific (APAC) WB Offices And Licensees. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients providing expertise and support communicating clearly on all day-to-day operational activities. Co-ordinate activities across Global AdPub team, localization vendors, Anti-piracy, local offices & stakeholders. Providing clear instructions with debut times, localization, deadline and security directives to global vendors, local WB offices, dubbing studios for marketing content. Managing regular update meetings with Global AdPub team, ensuring everyone has latest information and clear instructions on evolving campaign strategies. Providing Theatrical Marketing Home Office with regular reports on project status & creative choices. Creating and providing Home Office and Regional Marketing with budget allocation. Management (20%) - Provides Support for 3 x direct report on their day-to-day project work, troubleshooting and providing guidance Develop CHAT discussions with direct reports. Responsible for guiding their direct reports as they complete a project. Responsible for developing and implementing a timeline their team will use to reach its end goal. Vendor Management (10%): Assisting with localization vendor selection and project allocation. Planning, scheduling and assisting in management of volume of work against available capacity. Continuously evaluating vendor performance, adherence to agreed SLAs, and best practice. Requirements Localization (30%) - Manages planning and implementation of AdPub Localization efforts for Domestic, Latin American, and Asian marketing content. Requirements include, but are not limited to: Handles sensitive and confidential material appropriately & securely. Manages the creation and supply of reference materials to internal stakeholders, localization vendors ensuring appropriate security protocols are applied. Clear communication with vendors and key stakeholders covering delivery schedules, timelines, and placement opportunities for theatrical & online marketing content. Follows and ensures that the creative strategies have been applied, works closely with the feature team to ensure localization efforts are consistent across marketing and feature projects. Creates and maintains purchase orders to vendors to cover work related costs and reconciles PO costs as required. Trouble shoots any issues that arise during localization and distribution of content. Engages in Quality Control in reviewing and approving OV and localized content for both Online and Theatrical placements. Provide individual markets costs for all AdPub localization operations as requested. Actively develop workflow improvements between vendors and GCO localization. Distribution (5%) - AdPub Distribution efforts including, but not limited to: Ensure all localized online content QC'd and uploaded to Adstream. Maintaining and updating the local distribution methods are in keeping with latest technology developments. Managing electronic vendors on Ad Pub/Trailer distribution solutions. Innovation & Development (5%) - Identifies opportunity areas and works with leadership and external stakeholders to make recommendations and implement process improvements including new technologies and industry best practice. Discipline: No Qualifications & Experiences... Work Experience Functional experience in video post-production, localization, or similar AdPub content servicing experience. Basic knowledge and application of common operational practices in servicing AdPub content and of postproduction services. Project management experience. Knowledge, Skills & Other Requirements Technically minded with a keen interest in new technologies. Exception English language skills. Additional language skills advantageous. Willingness to collaborate and share expertise to promote the growth of the team. Friendly and credible personality who inspires trust and client's partners and colleagues. Flexibility and positive can-do approach that builds team spirit. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to handle pressure and be efficient when delivering to tight deadlines. Adept with both Mac and PC operating systems, relevant office applications and editing software. Adobe Premiere/Media Encoder and Pro Tools experience is advantageous, but not required. Ability to work well both as an individual and in a team with an outgoing nature and ability to show patience in stressful and fast-paced situations. Navigation of content management systems. Timely and clear communication. Education, Training or Certification Some College preferred with emphasis on technology support for film, digital marketing, or related areas. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
