By driving performance and delivering results through customer contact and community involvement, the Local Manager will impact Frontier's ability to exceed our market growth targets and deliver 100% employee and customer satisfaction.This position will provide leadership to a workforce of field technicians who install and maintain both residential and business lines, OSP cable facilities, multi-line CPE equipment, hi-cap access services, broadband services, central office/transmission equipment, and digital loop carrier equipment.In this in-person role, you must report to our 11631 Clark St, Arcadia, CA location to complete your work responsibilities.What we need in you:We need a strong, experienced people leader with a strong work ethic and effective communication skills to supervise a union represented team. The keys you will bring to this role are solid planning, organizational leadership and project management skills.What you'll do:Meets service activation and repair commitment dates, maintains revenue and expense budget objectives, and promotes new and existing company productsManages a P&L budget to ensure revenue goals and expense targets are metProvides feedback, and ongoing training, and motivates their team to exceed department goalsPartners with Human Resources to ensure firm, fair, and consistent application of practices/policies and labor agreements in a timely mannerMaintain a safe work environment by conducting regularly scheduled safety meetings, applicable safety training, and reinforcing state/federal safety requirements within the workplacePositively represents Frontier through active engagement and involvement in the communityPartners with marketing to act as the "eyes" and "ears" of the local market to ensure an appropriate competitive responseResponds to issues identified on Customer SurveysWhat we offer:Nothing is more important to our success than the team that built it. Some of which we're most proud to offer include:Salary Range: $98,000 - $144,00020 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per yearDay one medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plan401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensationSame-sex spouse and domestic partner benefits coverage10 weeks of paid parental leave, 3 weeks of paid caregiver leave, and up to $10k in adoption program assistanceWhat background you should have:Field Technician work experience preferredSupervisory experience in an operations environment or equivalent work / military experience preferredAbility to communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as well as labor unionsAbility to lead a team while working under pressure with deadlinesBasic knowledge of engineering, plant service center, outside plant functions, electrical circuitry, network installation, maintenance and testing of central offices, as well as HSI/DSL installation, FTTH, and data networkingMust possess basic PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be available 24/7 to support off-shift technicians and emergency situations as neededMust be able to work in inclement weatherHigh school diploma or GED requiredCCNA, PMP, or CWNP a plusMust possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving recordFrontier salaries are estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
