We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, and dishwashers
- Works together with Director of Food and Beverage to create and update menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes and menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee food portioning and cost control measures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints regarding food quality or service
Experience:
- Proven experience in food handling, culinary arts, or related field
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in catering or restaurant kitchen management is preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is a plus
