Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing: Develop and implement strategies to meet staffing objectives. Collaborate with managers to define specific recruitment needs. Manage job postings, attend career fairs, and conduct initial screenings to connect promising candidates with potential roles.
Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process, extending job offers and coordinating pre-employment screenings. Ensure new hires are welcomed effectively and equipped with the necessary tools and information through comprehensive orientation sessions.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to staff and management, ensuring a harmonious workplace environment.
Training and Development: Manage compliance with mandatory training requirements, and organize professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and engagement.
Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, manage HRIS entries, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and secure.
Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, handle enrollment and termination of benefits, resolve claims issues, and effectively communicate benefits information to employees.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment and employee benefits. Stay informed about changes in legislation that impact HR.
Organizational Support: Embrace and promote organizational values and culture among team members.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in human resources.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
