Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at Providence Medford Medical Center- Part-Time, 24 hours per week, Day Schedule The Coordinator supports the facility's emergency management functions and coordinates activities of the Emergency Management Committee. The Coordinator is responsible for the Incident Command Structure (ICS) structure and implementation, exercise and training activities, and grant related responsibilities. They identify potential emergency management risks, evaluate hazards, prioritizes needs, and coordinates corrective action(s). The Coordinator ensures the facility is in a constant state of readiness for both real events and regulatory review.

Required qualifications: Associate's Degree in Business, Communication, Police or Fire Science, or related field. Or Two years of related work experience.
1 year of work experience doing emergency management.
Experience in application of an Incident Command Structure.
Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training and Education or advanced training in Emergency/Disaster Management/ICS.
Upon hire: National Incident Management System (NIMS) Trainer certification
1 year of work experience doing emergency management in a healthcare environment.
