This position is for a Computer Vision/A.I. Software Developer in the Cloud & Software team, and part of the Innovation Group. This role will work closely with Engineering and Research to develop and test new computer vision/AI solutions that enhance the camera & collaboration experience on Lenovo laptops. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have basic knowledge of AI/Deep Learning concept as well as computer vision and image processing. You will code and contribute to A.I. models (TensorFlow), as well as investigate and review new A.I. solutions. We're looking for someone who will be motivated to learn and try out cutting-edge A.I. technology. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and test Computer Vision/A.I. solutions using Python & Tensorflow, including model definition, training, and tests. Work with the engineering and research team to test new technology solutions. Collect, prepare, and augment data for Computer Vision/A.I. training. Review and test related 3rd party software solutions. Minimum Requirements: Pursuing a degree in a field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 6+ months of software development experience in Python and experience with Tensorflow or PyTorch. Preferred Requirements: Effective communication, presentation, and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge about various A.I. architectures for computer vision/image processing such as convolutional neural networks, auto-encoders, GANs, etc. Knowledge about algorithms and data structures. Knowledge of source control systems (Git) Experience with software development IDEs
