Our partner a financial institution is seeking a Business Lending Officer III to join their team in Vancouver, WA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and falls under the category of Business Development. The salary range for this position is $97,602.00 to $146,403.00.
Responsibilities Process new loan requests, loan renewals, term loan reviews, and analyze financial documents such as tax returns, profit and loss statements, and credit reports. Prepare and present credit presentations for loan approval in line with policy guidelines. Participate in business development and networking activities to support loan portfolio growth. Ensure loans conform to company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage and monitor existing accounts through periodic portfolio reviews. Provide underwriting and loan structure guidance to clients and support less experienced Business Lending Officers. Prepare and distribute reports as needed. Train others in processing and servicing areas including loan documentation preparation, booking, and payoff quotes. Troubleshoot accounting, servicing, or system problems. Work with internal and external auditors and legal counsel. Maintain knowledge of Commercial Real Estate, Construction & Development, and C&I lending. Comply with government regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and US Patriot Act. Participate in the company's Email Security Awareness Program. Requirements Experience: 5-10 years of similar or directly related experience in commercial credit/lending within a community bank or credit union, with advanced experience in Commercial Real Estate, Construction & Development, and C&I lending. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent. Graduation from an industry-recognized professional banking school preferred.
