Human Resources Full Time Benefits Coordinator- La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip is looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, and change orientated support co-worker. This person will be responsible for completing administrative processing for benefit plans, supporting co-workers with more complex benefit questions, mediating between benefit vendors and co-workers, project coordination, data analysis, and company communication.
A summary of the responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
Manage and administer coworker benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks. Coordinate open enrollment periods, including communicating benefit options to employees, facilitating enrollment processes, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding benefits, providing timely and accurate information and resolving issues effectively. Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with benefits vendors, brokers, and other external partners to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and optimize benefit offerings. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to employee benefits, and recommend improvements or changes to existing programs as needed. Assist with special projects and initiatives related to benefits administration, such as wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to all privacy and security regulations. Educate and communicate benefit offerings to individuals and leadership. Qualifications: Educational background normally attained through the completion of an Associate's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or commensurate experience Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a benefit role Working knowledge of benefit laws (COBRA, PPACA, HIPPA and ERISA); benefit enrollment systems; and CEBS or SHRM-CP certification are preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel including filtering, VLOOKUP, mail merge, formulas etc. High customer service standards Experience with public speaking and comfortable communicating to large groups. Detail oriented, ability to work with multiple deadlines and demands Demonstrated ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively Experience with handling highly sensitive information in a confidential manner Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours staying until 5pm. May require early morning hours and some travel.
