Job summary
The Administrative Sales Assistant provides direct administrative support to the sales department and CEO of AKE Safety Equipment.Handles a variety of confidential duties with professionalism.Loyal and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Provide daily support for sales team and CEO• Advise individuals inside and outside the organization on CEO's views on policies and expectations• Disperse information and instruction from VP to sales team members• Prepare reports and provide recommendations for operational and administrative problems• Compose and sign correspondence for CEO if needed• Serve as the CEO's representative at meetings and liaison to AKE staff• Screen and return phone calls• Read, screen, and answer correspondence• Contribute new ideas for efficiency improvement• Support and back up other administrative assistants, especially for high priority meetings and deadlines
Requirements
• Experience working within an entrepreneurial and/or sales environment• Excellent judgement and discretion in unique situations• Sensitivity to confidential information• Outstanding organizational and clerical skills• Courteous and cooperative with all AKE Staff, vendors, and customers• Strong interpersonal skills• Ability to meet deadlines consistently• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and QuickBooks• Experience with Salesforce CRM System preferred• Knowledge and ability to use UPS, FedEx, and SpeeDee shipping software preferred

• Anticipate a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggest solutions
