Description Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the company's brand, drive sales, and improve market penetration.
Direct the development of life cycle pans for compounds from IND stage through loss of exclusivity. Develop, communicate and update a comprehensive portfolio strategy.Include collaborative stakeholder engagement sessions to enhance integration, alignment, and collaboration across functions to maximize portfolio synergy and patient impact.Define key priorities across the portfolio. Develop the integrated commercialization strategy for acquired assets including the situational market analysis, critical success factors, market access considerations, product positioning in the portfolio, and recommended resourcing.Marketing:Lead the development and delivery of relevant, timely and holistic customer experiences.
Reimagine marketing through a customer experience lens to drive a focus on human centric, insights driven strategyAccountable for shaping and defining therapy area customer experience strategy, planning and execution across customer types including HCPs and patients.Translating product strategy into brand-specific and customer centric experiences across channels and customer segmentsEnsuring effective orchestration into customer-centric campaigns, tactics, and experiences across all channelsProduct Launch and Management: Oversee the marketing aspects of new or licensed in product launches and manage life cycle strategies for existing products.
Provide oversight into the business development product considerations and pipeline products (when applicable in the future) including an integrated evidence plan that will differentiate the product for marketing and reimbursement, identify clinical endpoints and outcomes for clinical trials and real-world evidence generation that are meaningful for physicians and patients, and lead to product differentiation.Budget Management: Prepare and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and meet financial objectives.
Take ownership of the P&L for therapeutic areasEstablish and monitor financial performance metrics, ensuring revenue targets, and profitability goals and brand health metrics are met or exceeded.Ensure brand tactical plans have meaningful measurement and outcomes on the impact to the business. Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop the marketing team to achieve outstanding results.
Setting and communicating clear individualized role expectations for each report based on position, skills, talents and objectives.Ensure that reporting personnel have strengths-based individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurement that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that regular and consistent reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.High performance coaching of reports that prioritizes appropriate challenging, development, feedback, regular recognition, and support.Manage the application and communication of all Mayne Pharma policies, procedures, and values.Collaboration: Work closely with sales, compliance, legal, and other departments to align marketing strategies with broader company goals.
Stakeholder Engagement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including ELT members, business development, and both internal and external partners.Build relationships with key thought-leaders, and other critical external stakeholders that impact brand performance and market leadership.Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all marketing practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
Basic Qualifications: Requires Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred15+ years' experience, including a demonstrated history within multiple specialized marketing areas in the pharmaceutical industry (Ex. Launch readiness, Strategic brand management, etc.) with a progressive increase in responsibility of scope.5+ years' experience managing a team.Demonstrated collaboration skills in leading cross-functional teams requiredCompelling presentation/communication skills required.Demonstrated experience leading organizational change and establishing high performance culture.Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, data analytics tools, and CRM software.Work Environment: NC based position with weekly requirements to be in the office20-30% overnight travel may be required for conferences, meetings, events
