Events Account Manager Job Description: The Event Account Manager provides excellent customer-centric event production services and overall event support at the highest level possible, through a mastery of systems and service. Responsibilities: Clearly communicate event project scope, schedules, deliverable dates, project status/action items, and any other relevant information ? both to the client as well as the internal event team Creation, consultation, development, and maintenance of timelines, agendas, and the run of show
Oversees the development process of event content including storyboards, scripts, graphic and video deliverables
Oversee and assist with content management pre-, post-, and during show
Responsible to help the client make the creative and technical decisions for all aspects of their produced messages.
Work closely with scheduling, production, and design teams to ensure project are completed on time and within budget
Working on multiple projects and customers simultaneously
Contributing to proposal development for new business and capabilities presentations
Properly managing your time to meet your own deadlines and manage the deadlines of those on your team
Responsible for event assets including, but not limited to: creative deliverables, print materials, budget estimates, contracts, space diagrams, renderings, staging concepts, agenda, rehearsal schedules and call outlines
Education Requirements: Must possess a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Project/Event Management, or related field
Desired Background/Skills: Must have 3-5 years of experience within an Event Production or Meeting Planning company; CSM experience at a hotel or destination venue; or CSEP, CMP, or comparable certification
Experience with live and virtual event operations
Experience as main point of contact with client and as owner of project lifecycle; managing time, prioritizing tasks, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Able to synthesize conflicting input from clients, and diplomatically handle requests
Experience communicating with a diverse audience, including the ability to propose solutions and explanations in writing
Familiarity with event billing and reconciliation processes
Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems; Technical aptitude is necessary
Ability to Travel both domestically and internationally (approximately 30%)
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite
Must exemplify company values and display maturity in offsite environment
