WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU? Full time, paid internship! Running Tuesday, May 28th through Friday, August 2nd, 2024 All internships are project based and report to a Relias People Manager. Flexible work environment with 3-4 days a week in the office. Comprehensive 2-day onboarding program – a great introduction to our company, customers and culture! Growth and career advancement opportunities!20%+ annual employee promotion and transfer rate Multiple development program options – leadership development, professional development curriculums, and Nanodegree options in both technology and data science Professional development gained from conference attendance and participation in organizations like NC Tech As a Learning and Development Summer Intern, you will be supporting multiple projects within the department including process review and documentation, career path development and mapping, competency mapping and management, exploring efficacy measurements, and internal communications. You will work closely with all members of the Learning & Development team, as well as the greater People & Organizational Enablement group, and have additional networking opportunities across the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
· Collaborate with team members to document current processes and identify areas for improvement.
· Support the team in developing career paths for various roles within the organization.
· Work closely with subject matter experts to identify and define key competencies for different roles.
· Provide recommendations for improvement based on efficacy measurements.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for projects.
· Assist in the coordination and logistics of training programs.
· Collaborate with L&D team to develop training materials.
· Support the implementation and maintenance of learning tools.
· Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions and programs and make recommendations on improvements and efficacy measures.
· Participate in team meetings and relevant cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and integration of learning strategies.
YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE: · Clear and effective communication skills, written and oral.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong collaboration skills.
· Intermediate analytical skills: assess and document processes and analyze feedback.
· Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills: ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions to improve processes, training processes, and overall efficacy.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
· Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
· Ability to leverage networking opportunities across the business and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong initiative taking a proactive approach to taking on responsibilities and contributing ideas.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with a heavy emphasis on relationship-building
· Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
· Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's degree program
