Store Donation Attendant Location Cleveland, TN : POSITION PURPOSE The Store Donation Attendant I, II accepts donated goods from the public. He or she maintains areas both inside and outside in a neat and orderly manner and assists in other areas of the store as needed.
JOB FUNCTIONS Essential Functions: Greets donors at their vehicles. Assists in unloading acceptable donations in a timely and courteous manner. Thank donors for donations and ensures that a receipt is offered to each donor. Prepares records and reports as requested. Keeps supervisor informed of problems and suggestions related to the job. Performs other duties in the production and retail area as assigned. Complies with all standards and safety regulations. Sorts the donations according to requirements. Keeps donation area neat, clean, and orderly. Ensures that equipment is in good working order. Assists in the maintenance of a clean retail environment. Always exemplifies high-quality customer service. Remind donors that their donations help support Chattanooga Goodwill's Mission of empowering people. Regular attendance is an essential function. Other duties as assigned Incidental Functions: Loads and unloads trucks of donated goods and equipment. Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED preferred. Warehouse or production experience preferred Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures Operation of lift devices and other assigned equipment Space utilization and inventory techniques Health and safety regulations Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy DIRECT REPORTS No PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT Appropriate interaction with staff, management, clients and volunteers. Accomplishment of job functions in an effective and timely manner. Exercise good judgment in the absence of specific guidelines.
