We're currently seeking a dedicated Staffing Services Manager for our skilled nursing healthcare centers in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. This full-time, exempt-level position is based at Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, PA, and may involve travel to Spang Crest, the Luthercare community in Lebanon, PA. In this position, the Staffing Services Manager must work one weekend day every other weekend. WHAT YOU DO: As a Staffing Services Manager, you are responsible for workforce planning for Luthercare's skilled nursing centers, in conjunction with the Director of Nursing. You will be responsible for master scheduling and managing the effective scheduling and staff coverage for each nursing center to support and maintain a high level of resident safety. You will oversee and manage a Scheduler and any staff scheduling needs. In this role, you will use strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to complete and manage monthly staff schedules, changes, and trades in shifts, in the absence of the Director of Nursing or as delegated by the DON. You will also maintain timely records of attendance and provide reports on issues relating to staffing, vacancies, agency use, and other topics. Among your responsibilities, you will also:
Prepare and submit accurate and timely completed payroll reports. Determine and communicate schedule to newly hired team members, prior to their start date. Serve as primary nursing center contact for all employees' needs regarding scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll. Verify agency staff credentials prior to agency working shift at center, as well as follow up with Luthercare team members regarding certification and licensure renewals. Balance nursing center staffing needs, employee schedule preferences, and nursing center financial performance, verifying daily per patient day (PPD). You will use software to minimize overtime and nursing agency spend while ensuring nursing hours PPD and salary expense is at the appropriate budget level. ABOUT LUTHER ACRES:? QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.?Or Associate's degree and 6 months' experience in a medical office, customer service, inbound call center (preferred), or other relevant health care setting preferred. Five (5) years of previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with high volume/short notice schedule changes with proven track record in similar position, scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll. Ability to multi-task at a high level. Proficient computer skills and various computer applications, including scheduling software, MS Excel, and Outlook?
