Responsibilities
• Assisting the Accounting Director with monthly preparation of financial statement• Performing monthly bank account & various balance sheet account reconciliations & analysis.• Preparing & posting monthly journal entries.• Providing accounting support related to month end close.• Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required)• 3-5 years of accounting experience• CPA Certification (Required)• Long-Term health care experience (Required)• The ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely & accurate manner• Strong Organization Skills• The desire to take initiative & work pro-actively• GAAP knowledge• Proficiency with applicable technology such as Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)• Experience in Payroll, Fixed Assets & Construction (Preferred)
