Position Title: Senior Staff Accountant Reports to: CFO or designee
Directly Supervise: TBD
Basic Function: The individual is responsible, through personal efforts and leadership, for:
Implementing and maintaining the organization's financial policies and procedures with an emphasis on accuracy, timing, and internal control. Compliance with, and adherence to, the organization's reporting standards and control requirements. Responsibilities: Accounting and Reporting: Prepare monthly general ledger closings and consolidations for operating entities/ locations in accordance with company policies and procedures. General ledger monthly tasks completion: Revenue, AR, AP, accruals, payroll, bank activity and reconciliations, Credit cards activity and reconciliations, etc) Prepare and explain monthly clinic level performance and variance reports. Maintain general ledger account analysis, requires full understanding of flow between P&L and balance sheets. Coordinate capital spending process/reporting and maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger. Coordinate /apply inventory recognition process Participate in forecasting and budgeting process, as necessary. Coordinate and participate in internal/external financial reviews and audits. Prepare/assist with other management reporting, as necessary. Assist with the integration of business development and growth activities onto Innovation financial platforms. Other: Interact with division operating, sales, marketing, and executive management. Participate in the administration of general ledger systems, sub-systems, report writers, budget systems and other financial systems as required. Assist with Local and state filings as necessary (sales and use tax, property tax) Other duties as assigned. Assist with data requests for annual audit Attributes / Position Requirements: · Experience in a private equity backed company. MSO and/or healthcare experience preferred · 3-5 years progressive experience in financial and accounting field · Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. · Ability to communicate accurately and concisely. · Ability to work independently Systems knowledge: Sage Intacct preferred, QuickBooks online, Bill.com, Avid Education: Bachelors' degree in accounting; graduate degree preferred. Professional certification CPA, CMA preferred Working Conditions Fast-paced, collaborative/team focused environment. Standard working hours based on a 40-hour work week. Additional working hours required as needed to complete testing assignments and projects on schedule. Minimal travel as required for business needs. Scope of Financial Responsibility: Follows all state regulations regarding professional license Act in compliance with legal rules and regulations applicable to the position.
