Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing
The Senior Manager Integrated Marketing will support and assist the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Strategy by driving and awareness through integrated marketing campaigns for one of five pods (Apparel (2 pods - value and relevance), Beauty, Jewelry and Home, and Multicultural). In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and activation plans for owned and partner brands, managing integrated communication plans for a category/group of products, driving promotional events, and increasing traffic to both stores and ecommerce site. These plans will balance short term revenue goals with long term brand value and other corporate goals. Interpret and leverage market data, consumer research and category trends (retail/fashion/product/service/consumer) to define the integrated content direction for optimized marketing ROI. Primary Responsibilities: Leads the defined group of divisions and/or customer segments for one of the following (Beauty, Apparel, Jewelry and Home, and Multicultural). Defines overall marketing strategy for the portfolio and optimized to both sales and customer goals. Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that leverage a mix of tactics and messaging executed via digital, social media, email, events, PR, and content marketing to support growth of business, corporate brand, and owned/partner brands. Build and implement positioning strategy for key owned brands, categories and departments that aligns with business objectives and are executed through integrated marketing campaigns. Contribute to seasonal messaging strategies by integrating the key brands and products into the defined customer story and content plans. Partner with Promo Management & Strategy team to ensure category promotions are represented in go to market plans. Gather data and report out on promotional and business performance, partnering with merchant teams on optimizations. Manage partnerships with National brands to optimize marketing involvement in line with overall business and marketing strategy. Partner with teams across marketing and creative on the development and execution of all marketing collateral, including advertising, promotions, and digital assets etc. Partner with media, content and channel teams to define the integrated marketing needs for categories, brands and products to deliver marketing performance goals, asset needs and executional requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop guidelines, messaging, and creative assets that align with the company's merchandise strategy for owned brands. Analyze and apply market research to identify new opportunities for the brands, categories and products and stay up-to-date on industry trends. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategy as necessary through the implementation of KPI's to measure brand and sales growth. Provides leadership, mentoring, support and development opportunities for a group of direct reports. Core Competencies & Accomplishments: 10+ years of experience in brand or integrated marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role while working in different industries such as consumer brands, consumer packed goods, retail or fashion. An undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communications. Experience developing and implementing successful integrated marketing campaigns that leverage a mix of tactics including digital, social media, email, events, PR, and content marketing. Strong track record in retail marketing and advertising for consumer packaged goods, retail or consumer brands where you developed clear end effective marketing programs. Strong understanding of brand strategy, channel strategy, media planning and overall marketing principals Must possess excellent communication skills, leadership skills, ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and knowledge of marketing trends/best practices. Experience analyzing data to draw strategic insights and solve complex problems. Ability to work in a fast-paced highly collaborative environmentmanage through ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities a must.
