Responsibilities
• Process, reconcile, and remit withholding payments and filings associated with distributions from IRA and pension accounts• Use system reports to balance IRA and pension withholding transactions• Monitor client control accounts and process money movements• Prepare monthly management status reports for clients• Perform year-end balancing and submission of 1099R files• Research and communicate with IRS and various states• Collaborate with other teams within the division• Assist with various projects as needed
Requirements
• Proficient in using basic office equipment and tools• Strong problem-solving, analytical, time management, organizational, and data entry skills• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines• Ability to work in an organized manner and maintain confidentiality• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships• Hybrid work location• Experience in accounting and/or tax fields (Added bonus)• Experience with Trust Desk system platform (Added bonus)• Knowledge of IRA distribution reporting (Added bonus)
