Responsibilities
• Manage cash flow, A/P, A/R, and complete general ledger accounting• Provide proactive financial analysis and recommendations• Work with management team, drivers, and outside service providers• Assist with budgets and forecasts• Create and manage ad hoc reporting• Assist with customer questions, billing, and collections• Reconcile bank statements• Develop and enforce finance and accounting policies• Review accounting information and resolve inaccuracies• Assist in strategic planning
Requirements
• 5-10 years of accountant work experience• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance• Management/supervisory experience• Experience in the Transportation Industry• Clear communication skills• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and GAAP• Proficiency in MS Office and Transportation Management Systems• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills• Organizational and leadership skills• Ability to maintain confidentiality
