As an

SAP PP Application Specialist III , you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic business initiatives in an SAP ECC environment. This opportunity will have you deeply engaged in reviewing and refining processes, primarily focused on planning, sales & distribution, and product definition. Our aim is to enhance forecasting and planning capabilities, which will involve selecting a new tool, implementing process changes, and collaborating closely with our IT department on system enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include assessing business needs, analyzing requirements, configuring applications, leading project teams, and ensuring seamless communication between IT and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Thoroughly assess existing processes related to planning, SD, and product definition. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in the process of selecting and implementing a new tool to improve forecasting and planning capabilities.
Drive the adoption of process changes by effectively communicating with stakeholders and providing necessary training and support.
Lead the writing of functional requirements, configure and develop test plans and scripts, and conduct component, integration, and user acceptance tests
Manage advanced production support issues and service requests using ServiceNow while committing to timely resolution and adhering to SLAs
Partner with business functions to expand business knowledge and increase functional expertise in multiple areas while being able to instinctively recommend to-be solutions to resolve business needs
Promote information sharing across sites to optimize application usage and minimize duplicated development efforts
Role requires occasional travel (5%-10%)

Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in SAP PP
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English, other languages advantageous
