About the role: As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will provide application support to money movement products that will change the way the world pays, banks and invests. Primary responsibilities are analyzing, maintaining and supporting the applications. Researching production issues related to Capitol One client, working with various internal groups to identify and resolve production defects including the installation of code fixes. This client facing position will support one of our biggest clients – Capitol One.
About the team: FIS is looking for a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our EFT Service Delivery team in US-based FIS location. The Debit Application Support team at FIS provides application research and defect resolution for the Debit Card processing platform, which connects to many FIS families of products and services as well as external products and services to stay on the leading edge to our clients. We are looking for talented resources to be a part of this dynamic team that will grow with the growth of the solution.
What you will be doing: • Supporting program logic in existing applications for day-to-day money movement.
• Researching, debugging, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.
• Maintaining new and existing application components.
• Incident support, analysis and critical thinking for problem resolution.
• Interacts with project managers and/or users to define the issue and/or necessary modifications.
What you will need: A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Must have excellent mainframe COBOL, IMS, VSAM, DB2, SQL and TSO/JCL/ISPF skills and 5+ years of experience. Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to work independently and intuitive ability to prioritize assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization. Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills. Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts. Added bonus if you have: • Financial technology industry experience.

The pay range for this full-time position is $87,430.00 - $146,880.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
