We are seeking an SAP Materials Management Specialist, to play a pivotal role in a digital transformation project, particularly during upgrade to S4HANA. With a focus on the Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Industry, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing MRP/ERP systems, procurement processes, inventory management, and financial performance. Your expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) will drive tactical procurement strategies and ensure inventory management practices support long-term vision and growth strategy. Qualifications: Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Material Management and Inventory Control, with a proven track record in the Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Industry. SAP Expertise: 5+ years of experience with SAP in MRP/ERP management, with a strong ability to optimize procurement and scheduling functions. SAP MM Proficiency: Deep understanding of SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, material master data, and inventory management. Leadership: Ability to lead people, with a focus on developing capabilities and achieving high performance with on-time delivery. Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate and implement inventory management strategies that contribute to the business's financial performance and growth. Analytical Skills: Highly comfortable with data, possessing proven analytical skills and the ability to drive results through detailed analysis. Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas and strategies without causing disruption. Essential Duties: SAP MM Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience in SAP MM for MRP/ERP management, ensuring the adoption of best practices and effective use of SAP Procurement and master scheduling. Inventory Management: Take full accountability for the inventory's financial performance, developing strategies for optimal stock levels and turnover rates to meet business needs. Procurement Process Management: Streamline the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Cost Reduction and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve supplier value. Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records, generating reports to support decision-making. KPI Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior operations and procurement leadership, demonstrating the impact of materials management strategies. Leadership: Lead a team of plant buyers/planners to achieve on-time delivery (OTD) goals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement a long-term vision for inventory management, aligning with the company's growth objectives and digital transformation efforts. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including plant managers, project managers, and supply chain leaders, to ensure materials management aligns with overall project and business goals. Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Logistics and Materials Management, or a related field is preferred.
