Rn Supervisor ( Up To $50/Hr)

River Ridge Living Center -

River Ridge Living Center is located in Amsterdam, NY we are a 120 bed Skilled Nursing facility.

We are looking for two Registered Nurse Supervisors to become part of your Team.

Hours would be:

10pm to 6am

Saturday, Monday and Tuesday

Also Available are

Every other weekend Sat and Sunday 6am to 10pm

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with

supervision to staff. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

Supervisor staffing assigned to shift and will have input on staff reviews

. Make rounds on all units.

Go over reports with charge nurse,

check on residents listed on report

Check on new residents admitted to facility

Ensure that resident comfort and safety is being maintained

Ensure that resident dignity and privacy is being attended to

Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Supervise

LPNs and nursing assistants

Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Skills

Proven experience as a registered nurse

Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

Excellent knowledge of emergency care

In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible and compassionate

Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

BSc or other diploma from a nursing program

Valid nursing license
