Position Summary
Responsible for growing the assigned line of business by providing leadership to the branch and onsite teams. Responsible for conducting interviews, making effective job placements, maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates, the Regional Manager must possess strong decision-making skills while maintaining unquestionable integrity.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Guide the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced staffing office.
Improve customer relationships with an emphasis and focus on excellent customer service.
Work with Regional Director of Operations to grow client database.
Build and populate a recruiting pipeline capable of complimenting the diverse needs of our clients.
Maintain HR compliance through the employee recruiting, interview and management lifecycle.
Achieve maximum employee productivity through innovative coaching and educational techniques. Engage and help grow hours by maintaining a strong sense of urgency when dealing with clients and applicants.
Motivate workforce by exercising professionalism driven by the highest ethical standards.
Effectively and confidentially communicate with internal and external clients.
Build the Abacus presence in our local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and hiring events.
Calculate and monitor turnover and present weekly reports to management.
Coordinate time off requests for staff making sure there is adequate coverage.
Confidently and honestly handle concerns from applicants and clients, discuss all matters with senior management and HR while aiding in resolving situations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Regular attendance and punctuality is required.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong communication skills both written and oral with strong attention to detail
Problem solving skills, the ability to make decisions effectively and propose solutions as necessary.
Flexible schedule is a must.
Team motivator and willing to work hard, and can have fun while doing so (high energy, positive, etc.)
General knowledge of State and Federal HR laws
Functional knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
