Job Description
Researches and develops new medicines for unmet medical needs through innovative medical science from inception, through clinical trials to commercialization.  Assesses, monitors and ensures products meet clinical safety standards.  Conducts sophisticated analysis, manages research information systems and technical documentation.  May be involved in providing para-professional laboratory support for product testing after collection. Establishes relationship with regulatory authorities to establish and maintain registration licenses to sell products globally.
Job Function – R&D Manufacturing AssociateThe R&D Pilot Plant group primarily focuses on process scale-up and production of drug biologics at the 20L to 1000L scale for use in clinical trials. The group is seeking a R&D Manufacturing Associate who is responsible for executing GMP production runs of biopharmaceutical clinical products by following applicable SOPs and manufacturing batch records.
The R&D Manufacturing Associate is responsible for preparing equipment and materials for GMP clinical production and operating equipment such as AKTA chromatography skids, pumps, pH meters, and filtration units. Works as part of a team in close collaboration with R&D Quality to perform various routine manufacturing tasks under cGMP guidelines and established procedures. Accurately documents data and completes batch records.
Relevant experience in manufacturing, equipment operation, and good documentation practices is preferred. Ability to follow instructions with direct supervision. Driven and detail oriented with demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions in a GMP manufacturing environment.
The R&D Manufacturing Associate will gain experience in various protein purification unit operations for manufacture of drug biologics.
