Position: Quality Inspector
Division: P.T. International
Department: Operations/Quality
POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting the incoming product to verify that it meets PTI quality requirements.  The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures quality of manufactured goods by comparing incoming part dimensions against PTI or customer drawings for correctness. Performs quality tests using instruments and equipment and records pass/fail grades of products. Comply with various ISO operating procedures and work instructions.  Communicates to the Quality Supervisor about possible quality issues and trends. Processes associated documentation for rework or nonconforming product. QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent, plus 2 years' related experience and/or training Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to use basic hand tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in mechanical or power transmission industry
