That's where you come in!As a Quality Engineer working on the D&D Beyond team, you will join an adventuring party of engineers supporting the folks building the best-in-class digital play solutions for the world's greatest roleplaying game! You will assist one of our product engineering teams in ensuring that our products and services meet the established quality standards while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.What You'll Do:Developing and introducing quality-related procedures and toolsAssist engineering teams in testing activities through exploratory test sessions and identifying potential risksIdentify and plan the necessary test coverage for supported services and implement test automation suites using the existing toolset, together with CI/CD pipelines running these testsMaintain and improve our auxiliary tooling for user and test data managementImplement the overall quality strategy within supported services and teamsAssist the execution of non-functional tests (performance, security, accessibility)Create necessary dashboards that inform about the state of quality of our services and processesWhat You'll Bring:At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.Experience in testing the entire stack of modern web applicationsSolid understanding of agile and quality assurance principles and methodologiesProficiency in JavaScript or TypeScriptProficiency in Playwright or other web test automation frameworksFamiliarity with AWS and DockerFamiliarity with CI/CD tools, e.g. GitHub ActionsNice to Have:Familiarity with C# and .NET framework, as some of our services are built using these technologiesFamiliarity building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.Proficiency in Node.JS apps and Serverless frameworkFamiliarity with observability tools like Datadog for monitoring, logging, and tracingFamiliarity with mobile test automation frameworks, e.g. AppiumA passion for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D)You enjoy throwing Fireballs in the face of danger (but all new party members are welcome!)We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerThe above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for satisfactory performance in this position.
