What You Will Be Doing Responsible for inventory verification of goods on hand, on order, and en route. Follows goods ordered to destination, internal and external. Responsible for the analysis of market and delivery conditions to determine present and future materials requirements and availability. Reviews and creates purchase order contracts assuring conformance to company policies. Locates and interviews vendors of materials, equipment, and supplies to determine product availability and terms of sale. Consults with the maintenance department on electrical projects, plans, and improvements. Arrange for sale or disposal of surplus material and equipment. What You Need For This Position Proven experience in purchasing, negotiation, and procurement. Knowledge of materials management.
