Responsibilities
• Plan replenishments utilizing ERP system• Approve invoices and resolve discrepancies• Obtain product or service information from vendors• Compare prices among vendors and select suppliers• Review Approved Supplier Lists and ensure proper execution• Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies• Determine procurement method and prepare purchase orders• Analyze commodities to develop long term contracts and savings programs• Maintain procurement records within ERP System• Discuss and resolve issues with defective or unacceptable goods/services• Implement quality, delivery, and inventory control programs with suppliers• Monitor purchased parts delivery status• Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all levels• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving• Maintain knowledge of leading principles in procurement• Support company, department, and safety policies• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience• Five or more years related experience• APICS certification and experience with CIRM, CPIM or CPM preferred• Knowledge of computer software applications• MRP experience required
