ARServices is seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). In this position you will provide support to DTRA's broader mission with partner nations to develop infrastructure, equip, train, mentor, collaboratively research, and establish sustainable capabilities for countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
The successful candidate will represent programs often independently representing government interests and coordinating with government financial, contracting officers, performers, and technical subject matter experts. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to not only work independently, but also to collaborate and build partnerships.
Principal Duties Perform and provide oversight to DTRA requirements, including worldwide materials transit, customs clearances in a technical aid environment, personnel travel and events support, document translation, language interpretation, and procurements. The successful candidate will apply experiential knowledge to:
Familiarity with shipping industry terms and standards. Warehousing and Storage Shipping Operational Tempo Multi-modal Door-to-Door Shipments Export Compliance and Customs Clearances in Technical Aid Environment Analyze customer requirements and conduct analysis of alternatives based on cost, availability and conformity with customer specifications Understanding and oversight of compliance for contract terms and submission of accurate invoices Creation of cost estimates for management and customer review Management of relationships with key U.S. and international vendors Preparation and submission of recurring reports to customer program offices including program execution reports Develop and monitor program plans for assigned projects Coordinate and lead support to contracting officers up through contract award and administration functions to support the customer Support overall management of project related to cost, schedule, and performance Experience using an Online Workflow Management System (OWMS). Requirements The successful candidate must possess the following requirements:
Experience: minimum 15 years professional experience in assignments of successive responsibility culminating in a minimum of 10 years managing programs. Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working within the DoD preferably in world-wide logistics, familiarity with the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle and various contracting/procurement methods the government uses to acquire goods and services. Education: BA/BS degree preferably in supply chain management, business, engineering, or policy. Additional qualifications are preferred (e.g., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), Project Management, or PMP). Clearance requirement: SECRET (TOP SECRET Eligible) Understanding of purchase orders/procurement contracts, technical evaluations Knowledge of federal contracting processes and acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) Familiarity with USG agency Nonproliferation Programs.
