Under direct supervision, performs work and administrative duties specific to a department or program.
Sends information to patients as directed Routes medical records and compiles chart
Requests and receives diagnostic films and pathology slides as directed
Performs Intake Liaison duties as needed. This includes, but not limited to, routing and delivering medical records and other information to the clinics
Provides telephone coverage for Fred Hutch Reception on a limited basis Required:
High school graduate or equivalent Under direct supervision, ability to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear and concise manner Ability to use a mouse, navigate computer programs, enter data into computer systems in accurately and efficiently Ability to work in a fast paced, complex healthcare environment Ability to establish professional relationships with patients, families, staff and providers Preferred:
Demonstrated customer service skills This position is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, without exception. Booster doses are strongly recommended but not required. If declining a booster, completion of the COVID-19 Vaccination Status Form Questionnaire and COVID-19 Booster Declination Training is required. Because of our immunocompromised patient population, there are no medical or religious accommodations available for any employee who is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. Only employees whose positions are fully remote, who are not patient facing and/or require no access to clinical facilities, may apply for medical or religious accommodations. The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.53 to $29.23 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.??
