Job Summary: The Center for Clinical and Translational Science ( CCTS ) is seeking a highly motivated, professional Production/Marketing Coordinator to contribute to the diversity and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS supports campus research professionals to ensure they are able to meet their research goals and ultimately improve the health of our communities and populations. Since its inception in 2006, the CCTS has invested millions of dollars into research funding and trainee support at the University of Kentucky through its commitment to funding innovative, early-stage translational research. The CCTS's vision is to catalyze clinical and translational discoveries through an integrated and transformative research environment targeting improved health, with emphasis on underrepresented populations in Kentucky. In support of that vision, the Production/Marketing Coordinator II for the Participant Recruitment Services team will be responsible for the creation of a variety of media material. Responsibilities for this position include the creation of a variety of media including: print production and design (for flyers, posters, brochures, etc.), web and interactive design (from simple web graphics to full web page/site design), and production of both short- and long- videos/media related to clinical research opportunities at UKY and clinical research support services/programs offered by the Center for Clinical and Translational Science. A successful candidate will be able to contribute fresh ideas and marketing/promotion concepts. The candidate must also exhibit a positive attitude to work directly with researchers, study team members, and other research community members to express and defend their concepts and designs – but also be willing to make edits and revisions based on direct feedback. Successful candidates will possess excellent marketing and/or outreach experience along with experience using social media for marketing of an organization or brand.
