Description
We are seeking an experienced leader for our
Project Management
practice. In this role, you will play a crucial role both functioning as Senior Project Manager and overseeing a team of Project Managers who lead client engagements in our Data Platform, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Power Platform practices.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure our clients receive value from the solutions we promise to deliver. Responsibilities include practice leadership, portfolio operations, project management and oversight, requirements gathering/documentation, scope management, issue resolution, and quality assurance. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead team of Project Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients;
Responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing standard Project Management methodologies, tools, and templates;
Set overall project management direction;
Realize revenue and utilization goals of the team;
Engage in Delivery oversight and escalations as needed;
Facilitate consultants' professional development and priority skills focus;
Create growth and opportunity for our clients utilizing technical solutions from our primary partner, Microsoft;
Partner with Account Owners to expand existing engagement or grow into other areas within a client.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Ability to operate as a collaborative member of the leadership team;
Ability to inspire and lead a team of high-performance project managers;
Ability to effectively manage project scope, schedule and cost;
Ability to identify and manage issues and risks;
Must be proactive with solid organizational and time management skills;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Strong meeting facilitation skills;
Strong understanding of consulting business and project operations;
Required Technical Skills:
A deep understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies, including, but not limited to Agile/Scrum;
Experience managing Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Application Development and cloud projects;
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel);
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or other Agile methodology certification a plus;
Technical skills related to Microsoft Azure services are a plus
Business Analyst skills are a plus
