Planning Manager will have responsibility for outbound transportation, computer room and regulatory compliance functions, and product slotting. The Planning Manager leads a team of one exempt Supervisor and 9 direct reports.
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Mon-Fri, plus other schedules as assigned.
Key Responsibilities: Develop short and long-range staffing plans based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements. Develop, manage, and monitor performance reporting on quality productivity and cost. Develop and monitor wave release process to improve production efficiencies. Monitor DC's performance to schedule and forecast to actual and report to management team for continuous improvement opportunities. Maintain systems and databases in an accurate and timely manner as well as track activities and generate metrics to manage the process. Review and approve carrier invoices including specials, hot-shots, and bulk outs. Monitor and hold carriers accountable for on time performance, scan percentages, enforcing security protocols and driver reliability and behavior. Monitors Overhaul compliance and GPS devices for DC 8160. Monitors and communicates weather events to external and internal customers to ensure transportation impacts are mitigated. Increase productivity by working projects regarding slotting optimization and replenishment reduction. Responsible for DC internal and external audit readiness. Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
