We provide our residents with all the therapy they need and deserve.ResponsibilitiesImplement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent mannerInstruct and counsel patients effectively in exercisesIdentify patient's needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differencesRecommend options, courses of action or modifications in selected treatments ensuring patient's progress, safety and comfortApply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injuryComplete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy servicesPerform selected data collection and obtain accurate informationMeasure performance and report on patient's medical recordParticipate in patient status judgmentsAdhere to ethical and legal standardsEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledgeSkillsProven working experience as physical therapist assistantExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standardsHands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalitiesAbility to communicate and instruct effectivelyHealth care administration and documentation skillsLicense to practice or relevant certificationCareer Advantages:· Rare in-house opportunityWhat you would be doing:The Staff PTA performs patient care and patient related activities as directed by the Staff Physical Therapist.What your work schedule would be:Your work schedule will be determined based on your work status and case load by the Director of Rehab.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/LICENSUREGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant ProgramSuccessful completion of certificate/state licensure process for PTA
