Responsibilities
• Manage the Perishable Department, including hiring, training, and developing associates• Supervise and provide ongoing performance management for department associates• Ensure productivity expectations are achieved• Promote a culture reflective of company values and strategy• Support budgeted financial and operating results• Provide outstanding customer service and solutions• Control store expenses and maintain supplies and equipment• Ensure department appearance, quality, and safety are maintained• Write schedules to provide extraordinary customer service• Ensure compliance with regulations and company guidelines
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills• Good understanding of store operations preferred• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements• Ability to use technical information to solve problems• Ability to lead and direct others• Must meet minimum age requirements for job functions
