Operations Associate - Work From Home

Job Description:

Core-Mark Holding is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, with the flexibility to work from home. As an Associate Level employee, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess the following personality traits: resourceful and independent. In addition, the candidate should have strong soft skills in research and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities:1. Coordinate and manage various operational tasks related to inventory management, order processing, and logistics.2. Conduct research to support decision-making, optimize processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.3. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure smooth operations.4. Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress and performance against operational goals.6. Support the Operations Manager in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.2. 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and problem solve.4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
