SALARY RANGE:  $40,000 – $45,000                                                         FLSA:  NON-EXEMPT
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Director of Operations – rootEd Missouri
SCHEDULE DETAILS:  Full-time/12-month position/PEERS/This is grant-funded with a limited-term appointment. Program Summary rootEd Missouri is a statewide initiative designed to improve postsecondary outcomes for students from Missouri's rural communities. rootEd will support districts' dedicated college and career advisors through a partnership with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Through this partnership, advisors will be placed in over 135 rural Missouri high schools. These advisors will work alongside school counselors and district leadership to ensure every student graduates with a postsecondary plan and to grow the number of students who enroll in a postsecondary option.  
The Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC), sponsored by rootEd, will work with DESE to set the vision and direction of this program, provide training and ongoing support to school-based advisors, collect data to evaluate the success of the program and build and execute a growth strategy. 
Position Summary The rootEd Missouri Office Manager is responsible for the daily administrative functions necessary for the operation of the program. This position will support office operations and personnel with day-to-day management of scheduling, event planning, purchasing and procurement, and related administrative duties.
Essential Job Duties Assist the rootEd Missouri team, under the direction of the Director of Operations, in daily operations as needed.  Facilitate the processing of check requests and purchase orders for all rootEd Missouri program partners.  Reconcile and monitor the program budget regularly.Assist with purchasing and procurement for the program. Assist with the planning and execution of program events.Perform various clerical duties, such as greeting visitors, answering calls, and scheduling events.Maintain supplies and equipment for the department.Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.Comply with college policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned, including attending college functions, serving on committees, and attending community events. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Customer service, office management, or clerical experience.Ability to work well with others.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite). Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.Three years of customer service experience. Three years of office management or clerical experience. Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.Experience with Colleague.Experience working within a collegiate setting. Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
