We are on the lookout for a passionate Development Operations Coordinator to join our philanthropy team. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission through meticulous management of our donor database, executing gift processing, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to our stewardship and research efforts. You'll work closely with the Philanthropy Database Manager, and while this role doesn't directly supervise others, it's crucial for our operations.
What You'll Do
Data Program Responsibilities:
Process donations received through various channels, prioritizing efficiently.
Create and send out acknowledgments in a timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date donor records, including contact information and communication preferences.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all donor information.
Contribute to the production of data queries and reports.
Donor Stewardship:
Oversee programs that recognize and thank our donors, including memorial tributes and special acknowledgments for significant contributions.
Play a role in welcoming new donors and maintaining ongoing engagement with our supporter base.
Research:
Identify potential funding opportunities and conduct detailed research on donors and prospects.
Analyze and enter crucial information into our CRM system to aid in the development of our donor pipeline.
General Duties:
Handle daily mail sorting, respond to donor inquiries, and assist with various fundraising and donor engagement activities.
Keep an eye on supplies and manage multiple projects, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Who You Are
You hold a bachelor's degree and have experience with databases or CRM systems (preferred).
Your passion for our mission is matched by your commitment to our core values.
You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and data management skills.
You're proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new software.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for working well both independently and as part of a team.

Working With Us
Location: This role is primarily based in Bridgeton, MO, with a blend of onsite and community work. Remote work flexibility is offered in alignment with our policies.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work for special events or projects.
