Our agency is looking to fill a full-time permanent Office Assistant (OA3) vacancy within the Community Corrections Division. This position works for the Lacey Field Office located at 6135 Martin Way East, Lacey, WA 98516. Under general supervision by the Community Corrections Supervisor (CCS), this position provides direct support to the CCS and Corrections Specialist 4 (CS4's) in the screening team in the Community Corrections Division Graduated Reentry Unity (GRE). Researches, assembles, and summarizes information/data for local and statewide distribution. Archives data within SharePoint. Retrieving information/reports from OMNI. Provide direct support to CCS. Prepare and finalize unit staff meeting agendas and meeting minutes for CCS approval and distribution. Assists with the hiring process preparing interview packets and conducting reference checks on the top candidates. Assists with and/or performs project work for the CCSs as requested. Accessing and entering documents in OnBase. Update online databases. Manage correspondence and public disclosure. Prepares correspondence for supervisor and statewide administrator, as needed. When assigned, gathers and prepares documents for public disclosure requests and follow up to make sure all items are gathered. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of clerical and/or customer service experience. And maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities: Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Must respect and maintain confidentiality. Ability to assist individuals with various criminal backgrounds. Ability to navigate internal databases. Ability to proofread written material: identify and correct errors in sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and Excel). Desired Qualifications Associate degree or higher (degree must be obtained from an accredited college or university whose accreditation by the US Department of Educations and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or foreign equivalent.
