Part-time opportunity available at the Center for NeuroPotential for a dynamic Neurofeedback Technician. Seeking an individual with strong technological skills, eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work with individuals receiving mental health services. No prior experience in neurofeedback necessary; training provided. Position entails approximately 20 hours per week, in-person only at our Branford, CT office.Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree. Hours include afternoons and early evenings; reliability is essential. Technician will be trained in neurofeedback administration under the guidance of a clinical mental health professional. Ideal candidate should see this role as a potential career path. Clients include adults and children with various psychological and medical conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia, Learning Disorders, PTSD, and Brain Injury, as well as those seeking 'peak performance' neurofeedback training. This task entails placing an EEG cap on the client's head, setting up the software program and ensuring accuracy, monitoring the session in case technical difficulties arise, and uncapping clients when doneCleaning caps and neurofeedback rooms between patientsInteracting with patients with behavioral health concernsDocumentation in our electronic health recordRecording and uploading QEEGs to a shared folderAdministrative duties, as assignedQualifications:Associate degree or higherComfortable with technologyStrong attention to detail, highly organizedProfessional, yet friendly, demeanorAble to work collaboratively with other technicians, administrative staff, and cliniciansResponsible and reliableAbility to work approximately 20 hours per weekAbout Company:The Center for NeuroPotential empowers motivated people to heal, grow, and reach their potential using assessments and treatments that are evidence-based, brain-based, and holistic.
