About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Technology Client Coverage, with a focus on high-growth venture/private equity-backed technology companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, building, and maintaining a portfolio of such clients, as well as managing an existing significant portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the technology finance ecosystem and the ability to function as a subject matter expert to enhance the company's brand and presence in the market. The Managing Director will also be tasked with developing and executing a client acquisition strategy on a national level, converting prospects, and leading the team in meeting and exceeding business objectives.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with at least 10 years of technology banking experience, including credit analysis and/or portfolio management. Formal credit training or equivalent underwriting experience is essential. The role demands a proven track record in business development, strong connectivity within the technology ecosystem, and the ability to provide sophisticated banking and advisory solutions to growth stage technology companies. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required, as is proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office products. FINRA Series 7 or 79, 63 licenses are also necessary, or the willingness to obtain them within 120 days of employment.
